Technical info
Curing Rate: 3-4 mm/day
Density: 1,02 g/lt
Tack-Free Time: 10 minutes
Operating Temperature: -40°C and +180°C
Application Surface Temperature: Between +5°C and +40°C
Shelf Life: 15 months
Volume: 280 ml
Application methods
Application surfaces should be dry and clean; they should be free from rust, dirt, or grease.
It is recommended to clean and dry nonporous surfaces like tiles and glasses with a thinner-like solvent.
It is recommended to apply a primer on hard-to-stick surfaces.
For a cleaner and more eye-pleasing application masking tape can be used on either side of the joint or grout.
Safety info
It contains trace amounts of volatile chemicals. During curing, it emits an irritating odor and acetic acid. It should not be breathed for long periods and if used indoors, the place should be well-ventilated. Since it may irritate the skin, contact for long periods should be avoided. Hardened silicone does not carry any health risks.
Warnings!!
Since it releases acids, it should not be used on fixating mirrors or on sensitive metals (such as lead, copper, brass, silver).
Not suitable for natural stone or concrete surfaces.
When applied on surfaces that bleed grease, solvents, or plasticizers it loses its adhesion strength in time.
Should not be used at surfaces that will be submerged underwater.
If the expiration date of the silicone used is expired, check if a crust forms in 15 minutes. If so, it can still be used.
Storing above + 35°C will curtail the shelf life of silicones rapidly.
