Specifications
Acetoxy curing.
Almost odorless cure.
Resists shrinking and cracking caused by exposure to thermal cycling between -50°C ve +300°C
Preserves its elasticity when permanently exposed to temperatures up to 250°C.
Improved oil resistance.
It can be applied to rubber gaskets to improve strength.
Application areas
In gasket applications where resistance to high temperatures and/or high thermal cycling in car engines, machines, heating systems, industrial ovens, chimneys, etc
Technical info
Curing Rate: 3-4 mm/day
Density: 1,05 g/lt
Tack-Free Time: 10 minutes
Operating Temperature: -40°C and +250°C
Application Surface Temperature: Between +5°C and +40°C
Shelf Life: 15 months
Volume: 280 ml
Application methods
Make sure application surfaces are clean and dry and free from dirt, grease, or lose particles.
A primer should be applied on very porous surfaces such as natural stone or marble, or else it may stain.
Metal surfaces should be cleaned with a proper solvent prior to the application.
Since it cannot be painted over, it should not be applied to surfaces which will be painted later.
If possible, masking tape should be used around application areas.
Safety info
It contains minor amounts of volatile chemicals. It must not be inhaled and the application ambiance must be ventilated if used indoors. Since it may cause irritation to avoid prolonged contact of wet silicone to skin. Hardened silicone does not contain any harmful components.
Warnings!!
Since it will release acetic acid while curing must not be used on sensitive metals like brass and copper.
Not suitable for PP, PP, PTFE, neoprene, and bituminous surfaces.
Not over-paintable.
